To: Peace Loving People of the World...

On the occasion of acting Thai PM Thaksin Shinnawatra's resignation, PULO issues statement as follows:-

PULO stands firm that Mr Thaksin Shinnawatra must be brought to justice for his crime against humanity.

Unless there is a sincere commitment towards solving the Patani problem comprehensively based on the recognition of the Malay rights and ethnicity, for PULO, the situation remains the same whoever leads the post of Thai PM and practices a policy of the so-called development as a pretext.

Therefore, PULO hopes the future Thai PM will have a clear commitment towards ceasing using force, promoting dialogues and searching for political solutions.

Kepada Pencinta Kedamaian Seluruh Dunia:

Sempena dengan Perdana Menteri Thai Thaksin Shinawatra meletakkan Jawatannya, PULO mengeluarkan statemen sebagai berikut:-

PULO tetap dengan pendiriannya bahawa Thaksin Shinnawatra mesti dibawa ke proses keadilan atas tuduhan jenayah terhadap kemanusiaan.

Selagi tidak ada hasrat untuk menyelesaikan masalah Patani secara keseluruhannya, berdasarkan kepada pengiktirafan hak-hak asasi dan jenis kebangsaan Melayu, bagi PULO, keadaannya tidak akan berubah samada siapa saja yang akan menjabat Perdana Menteri Thai, dengan mengamalkan polisi pembangunan sebagai alasan untuk menghindari tuntutan yang adil di atas.

Maka itu, PULO berharap bahawa bakal Perdana Menteri Thai nanti mempunyai hasrat yang jelas untuk menghentikan penggunaan kekerasan, berusaha kearah dialog dan mencari penyelesaian secara politik.

ถึงผู้่เกี่ยวข้องและนักรักสันติทั้งหลาย

เนื่องในโอกาสที่รักษาการนายกรัฐมนตรีไทย พ.ต .ท. ทักษิณ ชินวัตร ได้ลาออกจากตำแหน่ง ทางพูโล ขอออกคำแถลงการณ์ดังต่อไปนี้ คือ

๑ . พูโลมีจุดยืนที่แน่นอนที่ พ. ต.ท. ทักษิณ ชินวัตร จะต้องเข้ากระบวนการยุติธรรมบนฐานความผิดคดีอาญา แห่งมนุษย์ชาติ

๒ . ตราบใดที่ไม่มีเจตนาอันแน่วแน่ที่จะแก้ปัญหาปาตานีดารุลสาลามอย่างทั่วถึงและครอบคลุมบนฐานแห่งการ ยอมรับในสิทธิและชาติพันธุ์ของชนชาวมลายู สำหรับพูโลแล้ว สถานการณ์จะไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงไม่ว่าใครจะ ดำรงตำแหน่งนายกรัฐมนตรีไทยและดำเนินนโยบายที่เรียกว่าการพัฒนาเพื่อหาเหตุผลหลีกเลี่ยงเงื่อนไขข้างต้น

๓ . ดังนั้น พูโลหวังว่า ว่าทีนายกรัฐมนตรีไทยจะดำรงไว้ซึ่งนโยบายที่แน่วแน่ชัดเจนด้วยการยกเลิกการใช้ ความรุนแรง สนับสนุนการเจรจา และพยายามแก้ปัญหาด้วยวิธีทางทางการเมือง

Let us hope that, with the announcement and the birth of newly 'Thai Peace Party' , the executive committee, will not be the second 'Wan Nor' as used by TRT. If the gentlemen are truly sincere to themselves and to the Patani Problem,

they must be in any way truthful to the plight of the legitimate and natural rights of the Malay Muslims of Patani, but NOT in such a way by taking any advantages shamelessly out of the problem, for the hidden purposes of case-studying by a handful of academics, of exploiting economical or political means by Thaksin system, of gaining influence by moderate Muslims be it from central or southern region.

The Patanis just simply need their ethnic recognition and rights back.
